Storm spotter training for Clay and Platte county residents from the National Weather Service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, at the Kansas City Regional Police Academy, located at 6885 NE Pleasant Valley Road Kansas City.

Training is open to civilians and first responders.

“This class will count as two continuing education credits for first responders. If you have one, please include your POST number in your sign-up, otherwise, write ‘NA,’” reads an event release.
