CLAY COUNTY — The final opportunity for seniors to apply for the 2025 Senior Real Estate Property Tax Relief program is fast approaching. The deadline to apply is midnight Monday, March 31.

Qualified residents — homeowners aged 62 and older — can submit their applications online or visit designated in-person assistance locations in Liberty and Gladstone. Trained professionals will be available to guide applicants through the process.

To apply, seniors should bring the following documents: photo identification, 2024 property tax receipt and trust documentation (if the home is head in a trust).

In addition, an in-person application event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Clay County Annex, 1901 NE 48th St.
