GLADSTONE — Quilting teacher Melissa Ide-Laird will offer a quilting class from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at Gladstone Community Center, 6901 N. Holmes St.

Ide-Laird will take quilters through the steps in creating a Big T Origami quilt by Missouri Star Quilt Company. The class is designed for beginner to advanced beginner skill levels.

Online registration is available at gladstonemo.activityreg.com, by phone at 423-4200 or at the center.

The supply list is available online and will be emailed before the first day of class. Participants must bring a sewing machine and extension cord.

Seniors interested in the class may qualify for the Clay County Senior Services Enrichment Grant. Details are available at the Gladstone Community Center’s front desk.
