KANSAS CITY NORTH — Rebuilding Together Kansas City’s Rebuilding Day 2024 is set for Saturday, Sept. 21. This annual event is a cornerstone of Rebuilding Together, said Scott Hickox, executive director, in a press release.

On Rebuilding Day 2024, more than 250 volunteers will come together to work on more than 20 homes throughout the Kansas City metro area. Volunteers will provide essential repairs and safety modifications, including roof repairs, plumbing fixes, accessibility improvements and safety upgrades to homeowners in need.

“I love Rebuilding Day because it is a picture of the community coming together,” Hickox said. “It’s a picture of people who care for their community, who care for their neighbors and want to make a tangible difference.”
