LIBERTY — The 41st Annual Northland Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration will be Jan. 20. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. in Liberty High School’s Performing Arts Center, 200 Bluejay Drive.
The guest speaker will be Robert L. Hill, minister emeritus of Community Christian Church in Kansas City.
Along with musical selections and special readings, the William Jewell College Concert Choir will perform.
Nine people will also be honored with Martin Luther King Jr. Service Awards: Jeanne Ralston, Gregory and Latoya Walker, James Thomas, Charlie and Loretta Hughes, Robert Weagley, Bobbie Pollard and Marjorie Williams.
