Northland Community Choir’s spring concert takes place at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27 at Parkville Presbyterian Church, 819 Main St., Parkville, and will celebrate its 50 years of engaging with the singers in the Kansas City metro area.

The spring concert will showcase three songs by composer Dan Forrest, with the highlight being “Requiem for the Living,” which is an internationally acclaimed work in five movements, according to a press release.

Jackson Thompson will take the podium as the artistic director to this season’s 60-plus member choir and small accompanying ensemble to bring works of inspiration and blessing.
