Northland Clothing Center in need of winter coats

CLAY COUNTY — Since 1959, Northland Clothing Center has been dedicated to serving the clothing needs of Northlanders in need.

Marjie Siegfried-Stuber, center executive director, said there are several donation needs.

“We find ourselves needing clothing for toddlers, specifically 3T, 4T and 5T,” she said. “We are still looking for coats for all ages and we need clothing for men in the 4X, 5X and even 6X range. We usually need sweatpants, sweatshirts, hoodies and coats for people in that size range. Finally, as always, we need brand new underwear, particularly for children.”

Donations will be accepted starting Wednesday, Jan. 8, for the new year.

“We accept donations on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. and on the first Saturday of the month between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m.,” she said.
