Northland Clothing Center in need of toddler, early school-aged children’s clothing

KANSAS CITY — The Northland Clothing Center, 3939 N. Cleveland Ave., seeks donations of toddler and school-aged children’s clothing. According to organizers, the sizes most needed are 2T to 5. New underwear for children ages 7 and older is also needed.

Donations can be dropped off between 9 and 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9 to 11:30 a.m. the first Saturday of each month.

For those in need, Northland residents are served on a per-appointment basis. Individuals and families requesting clothing assistance must work with one of clothing center’s partner referral agencies to set an appointment. Local agencies include schools, shelters, faith-based organizations and social service agencies.
