CLAY COUNTY — For more than 65 years, the Northland Clothing Center (formerly Clay County Clothes Closet) has been dedicated to serving the clothing needs of neighbors in the Northland Kansas City area who have an established need for this assistance.
Executive Director Marjie Siegfried-Stuber said current needs are new underwear and sneakers for children of all ages and all sizes.
“Back-to-school time means kids need things for school, P.E. and recess,” she said.
The Northland Clothing Center takes referrals from area help agencies. To find out more details about these groups, visit northlandclothingcenter.org/get-clothes/.
To make a donation by check, make it payable to Northland Clothing Center and mail to P.O. Box 46625, Kansas City, MO 64188.
Donations of gently-used clothing can be made on donations Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and the first Saturday of each month from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
