Missouri Department of Conservation, National Deer Association hold webinar on deer management

Missouri Department of Conservation staff and National Deer Association will discuss quality deer management, what it is, and how to start implementing it during the live Zoom webinar, according to a joint press release.

The MDC and the NDA invite landowners and others interested in managing deer on their properties to join them online at 6 p.m.Tuesday, April 29, for a free live Zoom webinar.

The webinar will begin with a presentation from an NDA deer outreach specialist on what quality deer management is and how to start implementing it followed by MDC and NDA staff answering participants’ questions.

The QDM webinar is the first of MDC’s and NDA’s free 2025 Missouri Deer Management Webinar Series via Zoom. Upcoming webinars are: Forests, Woodlands, and Whitetails, 6 p.m. June 24; Wildflowers and Whitetails, 6 p.m. Aug. 26; and Utilizing Prescribed Fire for Deer Management 6 p.m. Sept. 9.
