CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lane closures on northbound and southbound Missouri Highway 1 between Northeast 72nd Street to Northeast Brooktree Lane for pavement reconstruction. All work is weather permitting. This is not a complete closure, but motorist may experience delays.

The northbound lanes of Missouri 1 will be moved over to the southbound lanes in a head-to-head configuration with one through lane each direction beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 until late September.

This work is a part of corridor improvements taking place on Missouri Highway 1.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
