CLAY AND PLATTE COUNTIES — The 15th Annual Bill Cross 5K raised more than $65,000 for Feed Northland Kids food security programs.
All proceeds from the event support the nonprofit’s School Food Pantries and Community Food Kits to help nourish children and youth all across the Northland.
Awards were given out to several finishers.
Simon Guy and Will O’Brien finished first and second in the 6-12 boys. Zoe Buckmiller and Abby Buckmiller took first and second in the 6-12 girls.
Alexander Coleman and Gus Goodin finished first and second in boys 13-19. Khloe Manley and Charlotte Presko took first and second in girls 13-19.
Cory Adkins and Travis Franks took first and second in 20-29 men. Desiree Bisby and Agustina Iroz took first and second in 20-29 women.
Dalton Miller and Oscar Puebla took first and second in 30-39 men’s category. Monica Reaser and Stefanie Jibben in 30-39 women’s category.
Timothy Nold and Matt Cross finished first and second in the 40-49 category. Angela Redfern and Jeanne Goodin finished first and second in the 40-49 women’s category.
Paul Mast and Erik Bergrud finished first and second 50-59 men’s category. Jill Scott and Kristin Shultz finished first and second in the 50-59 women’s category.
Eric Jacobson took first in the 60+ men’s category. Karen Lanphear and Ella Smith took first and second in 60-69 women.
Oswaldo Sanchez took first in the 70 and older men and Mary Wojkiewicz took first 70 and older women.
