The Fall Parade of Homes begins Saturday, Sept. 21 and runs through Oct. 6. It offers the opportunity to see one of the largest displays of new homes in the country. Homes on the parade are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The fall parade features 250 homes in a slew of regional counties, including Clay, built by 93 of the Kansas City area’s finest builders.
Types of homes featured on the parade will include townhomes, villas, maintenance-provided entries and single-family homes, with a variety of floor plans featuring the latest design trends.
“View some of the latest trends in home construction and design including arched doorways and built-ins, the latest color pallets and unique details that complement the style of home whether it is modern, transitional or something else,” reads a release about the parade from the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City.
The mission of the KCHBA and its members is to “further the importance of home-ownership for all, which is the best way for families to create economic stability and generational wealth in the Kansas City metro.”
Admission is free and free parade guides are available for pick up at the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City office at the intersection of Interstate 435 and Homes Road.
Visitors can also download the parade mobile app from the Google Play or Apple Store. Using the app, paradegoers can save their favorites and then map a customized route to each home. For more information, visit KCParadeofHomes.com.
