CLAY COUNTY — Located on Longridge Road to the east of Stockdale Road in rural Clay County, the Longridge Road bridge was reconstructed and is now open to traffic. The new bridge, measuring 72 feet in length, features a steel girder structure with a concrete deck accommodating two lanes.
The annual Crystal Kipper & Ali Kemp Memorial Award was presented to Rasta, a Northland courtroom therapy dog, and the golden retriever’s handler and owner Jennifer Vernon. The award, presented each spring, honors the memories of murdered teens Ali Kemp and Crystal Kipper.
