GLADSTONE — Gladstone board and commission members help advise the mayor, city council and others on the city leadership team on issues such as planning and zoning, parks, capital improvements and neighborhoods.There are openings for board and commission members with terms beginning in January for the following:• The Arts Commission — Consists of up to nine members appointed by the mayor and city council who recommend projects to artistically enhance the city to be funded from the capital improvements budget.• The Board of Zoning Adjustment — Comprised of five members and three alternates appointed by the council for five-year staggered terms.
