GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Police Department is currently seeking volunteers for the current effort called “Volunteers in Police Service.”According to the department, volunteer duties could include serving as a police department ambassador, conducting vacation residence checks, assisting with records and other clerical duties, assisting the department with special events, assisting with parking enforcement, observing surroundings on trails and parks, helping plae speed trailers throughout the city and leading police station tours.

With uncertified results totaled by the Secretary of State’s Office in the general election, Republicans will maintain control of Missouri’s top elected seats.Local election authorities have two weeks after the election to report their certified results to the Secretary of State, and the Secretary’s Office must certify the state results by early December.
