GLADSTONE — The Friends of the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum will host their annual Big Shoal Country Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the farm, 4109 NE Pleasant Valley Road.
There will be variety of vendors including the Gladstone Farmers Market. There will also be live music from Hootin’ Annies, 10 a.m. to noon; Davis & McCarty, noon to 1 p.m.; The Maybelles, 1 to 2 p.m.; Tim Daniels and Friends, 2 to 3 p.m.; and a Bluegrass Jam, 3 to 4 p.m.
Activities for children will also be available. A unlimited activities wristband will be available for purchase. There will also be a petting zoo, bounce house and Woodchux ax throwing.
The Big Shoal Farm Pumpkin Patch will also be open as will the Big Shoal Cemetery, the heirloom garden and museum’s current exhibit.
