GLADSTONE — The official season opening of the Atkins-Johnson Farm & Museum, 4109 NE Pleasant Valley Road, is right around the corner and the exhibits have been planned as have field trips and upcoming community events.
Starting April 2, the first special exhibit at the museum will be “Sounds of the Nation: An American Music History.” The exhibit will look at folk music to modern artists of today with visitors able to “experience a taste of vibrant and ever-changing American music throughout its history.” The exhibit runs through June 28.
