Atkins-Johnson Farm & Museum activities coming

GLADSTONE — Community events continue this late spring at the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum.

On Saturday, June 14, the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum grounds, 4109 NE Pleasant Valley Road, will be the site for the Big Shoal Vintage Auto Show. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., car lovers can share their car. The event is hosted by Friends of Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum and Mid-America AACA.

The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is free. The first exhibit of the year, Sounds of the Nation: An American Music History ends June 28.

On June 18, there will be Mad Science at the farm. The program is 9 a.m. to noon.
