GLADSTONE — For roughly the past decade, the closing exhibit of the season at the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum, 4109 NE Pleasant Valley Road, features holiday toys.
The exhibit is open through Dec. 6. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
Through the years, the exhibit has focused on antique toys and dolls from the 1800s.
The exhibit has included wind-up toys and games on loan from local collectors. This year’s exhibit includes more modern toys with dolls from the 1980s such as Cabbage Patch Kids as well as characters from TV Steve Urkel and PeeWee Herman. There are also toy trains, dolls and stuffed animals.
