GLADTONE — A Turning Point, a nonprofit located at 1900 NE Englewood Road in Gladstone, works as a food pantry and provides clothing items to those in need. A Turning Point’s mission is “to support families by providing basic needs and education, equipping them for self-sufficiency.”
Donations of food, clothes, shoes, coats and hygiene items are needed. All donated undergarments and socks must be new.
Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to noon Fridays and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturdays.
The organization doesn’t accept household items, furniture, toys or books, but will accept tents, sleeping bags and blankets in good condition.
