CLAY COUNTY — As the weather warms up, the Northland Clothing Center, 3939 N. Cleveland Avenue, is in need of boys’ pants, sized 4T, 5T, and 6. Shorts are also needed.
Northland Clothing Center can also use gently-used clothing for children and adults. New underwear and unstained bras are also appreciated.
Donations are accepted from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. the first Saturday of each month.
Donations can be taken to the back side of the building. Ring the doorbell by the door on the left.
The Northland Clothing Center, formerly the Clay County Clothes Closet, has partnered with area schools and social service agencies providing needs assessments and referrals. Individuals and families in the Northland can select a wardrobe of clothing to meet their personal need and style for school, work, and community activities and helping to remove barriers for success in school and the workforce.
NCC facilitates its clothing resource program with a staff of volunteers. For those who would like to volunteer, email the nonprofit at info@northlandclothingcenter.org.
