GLADSTONE — This weekend, Gladstone residents can dispose of yard waste at the annual Spring Brush Drop-off event from Friday through Sunday, May 2 to May 4. The drop-off will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Public Works Facility, 4000 NE 76th St. This is the chance to get rid of leaves, tree limbs, grass and bushes for free with proof of residency.

Touch a Truck is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 3 at Happy Rock Park West, 7511 NE Antioch Road. Kids ages 2 and older can learn about the many trucks from the city and community businesses. Online registration is available at www.gladstonemo.activityreg.com, over the phone at 423-4200 or in person at the Gladstone Community Center.
