The Spring Parade of Homes, open April 26 through May 11, offers the opportunity to see one of the largest and most impressive displays of new homes in the country. Sponsored by Mike Bryant Heating & Cooling, the spring parade will feature 296 homes in six counties built by 108 of the KC area’s finest builders. <n> Types of homes featured on the parade will include town homes, villas, 67 maintenance-provided entries and single-family homes, with a variety of floor plans featuring the latest design trends, according to a press release.
There are homes in Kearney, Smithville in Clay County as well as homes in Platte County. Homes in Kansas City North include those built by McFarland Custom Builders Inc.,10208 N. Smalley Drive; Freeman Custom Homes, LLC, 8520 N. Booth Ave.; Summit Homes, 10632 N. Belleview Ave. and 9406 NE 111th Terrace; Steel Creek Construction, 2903 NE 102nd St.; Don Julian Builders, Inc., 2908 NE 102nd St.; Owen Homes LLC, 2911 NE 102nd St.; New Mark Homes KC, 3208 NE 102nd St.; Homes by Chris LLC, 8600 NE 87th Terrace; Syler Construction, Inc., 8720 N. Lewis Avenue and 8732 N. Lewis Avenue; Stone Leaf Homes LLC, 8736 N. Lewis Avenue; Gary Kerns Homebuilders, LLC, 1218 NE 122nd St. and 1302 NE 122nd St.
Homes range in price from $250,000 to $3.4 million and will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free and free parade guides will be available for pickup at the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City office, Interstate 435 and Holmes, beginning the Monday prior to the start of the parade and at all parade homes during the event.
Unique design features this year include hidden package rooms just off entryways to store Amazon packages, such as in the Bickimer Homes entry, statement walls in the Elevated Design & Build entry and neutral colors to emphasize a calming effect as shown in the Owen Home entry.
