GLADSTONE — North Kansas City Schools students got a lesson in doodling from an expert at the end of September.
Google Doodles Art Director Thoka Maer, the creative force behind the company’s doodles, shared her story, explained how doodles are made and worked with students to design their own doodle.
The fourth- and fifth-grade students sharing their works came from Bell Prairie, Briarcliff, Chapel Hill, Chouteau and Clardy elementary schools.
According to a district press release, NKC Schools’ partnership with Google made this opportunity possible. The collaboration aims not only to showcase students’ artistic talents, but foster a deeper connection between technology and creativity, states the district.
