GLADSTONE — A 22-year-old man faces a first-degree sexual misconduct charge after Gladstone police arrested a suspect for allegedly exposing himself to a woman in a public park.
“Over the weekend, officers responded on multiple incidents regarding a suspicious subject at Hobby Hill Park. This included at least one report of the suspect exposing himself to a female walker,” said Gladstone Police Capt. Karl Burris.
On Aug. 27, detectives conducted an undercover operation that resulted in the arrest of Hector G. Ramirez, who lives in Gladstone.
“I don’t know if he had any previous law enforcement encounters like this, but he had no similar arrests or convictions we are aware of,” Burris told the Gladstone Dispatch Thursday, Aug. 29.
Investigators believe there may be more victims and witnesses in the Northland. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gladstone Police Department at 436-3550 or the Tips Hotline.
