SMITHVILLE — Due to the severe winter weather anticipated on Sunday, Jan. 5, the second day of Eagle Days at Smithville Lake has been postponed to Saturday, Jan. 11. First-day presentations will still take place on Saturday, Jan. 4. All events take place in the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex Clubhouse, 18212 Golf Course Drive, Smithville.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. this Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. During Eagle Days, there will be programs about eagles and other birds of prey from Operation Wildlife volunteers. Show times on Saturday are 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. On Jan. 11, presentations are at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Locations for eagle viewing stations will be announced at the live eagle program.
