The North Kansas City School District’s Partners in Education program and the Education Foundation have teamed up to help students get ready for the 2020-21 school year.

Because of COVID-19, the annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive is now an online donation drive.

The Education Foundation will collect money to purchase supplies and materials that students need to be successful learners. All gifts are tax-deductible, according to a district statement.

To donate online, chose “School Supply Drive” from the “Please Designate MY Donation” drop-down menu at nkcschoolsfoundation.org/support/school-supply-drive. To give by mail, send a check made out to: NKC Schools Education Foundation, 2000 NE 46th St., Kansas City, MO 64116.

Funds are needed for supplies such as No. 2 pencils, pens, glue sticks and scissors, composition notebooks, folders, markers, highlighters, three-ring binders with loose-leaf paper and dividers, earbud multi-packs, scientific calculators and backpacks.
