Aaron Dale Lawson, 59, of Kansas City, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at his home.
Born Sept. 22, 1961, in Unionville, Mo., to Alva Edgar and Loretta Clark Lawson, Aaron grew up in Centerville, Iowa, graduating from Centerville High School in 1980. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Strode in 1984, and they had three children. They later divorced.
Aaron spent most of his life in Kansas City, working in internet technology. He was a lifelong KISS fan and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Aaron is survived by his parents, of Kansas City; daughter, Kendra Wheeler and her husband, Matt and their three daughters, Amelia, Ruth and Vivian, of Midvale, Utah; daughter, Kelsey Wheeler and her husband, Waylon and their three daughters, Lillian, Scarlette and Bailey, of Kansas City, Kansas; son, Asa Lawson of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, Russ Lawson and his wife Lesli of Grimes, Iowa, and Neil Lawson and his wife Jeanette of Gladstone, Mo.; and a sister, Winona Whitaker of Clinton, Iowa and her significant other, Dennis Wright.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
