CLAY COUNTY — Missouri Department of Transportation will again close one lane of northbound and southbound U.S. Highway 169 between Interstate 70 and Missouri Highway 9 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly Monday through Wednesday, July 1 to 3, for pavement repair work. Work began June 26.
Crews will also close one lane of eastbound and westbound Missouri Highway 69 at Interstate 435 from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly, Monday through Wednesday.
All work is weather dependent.
“Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike,” states a MoDOT release. “Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.”
