The Davidson Neighborhood Association will be hosting its first block party in conjunction with the National Neighborhood Night Out, starting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 6.

The party will be held at Davidson Park at 51st Street Terrace and North Michigan, east of Davidson Elementary School).

According to a press release, the neighborhood association will provide free hot dogs and bratwursts as neighbors are asked to bring a dish for the potluck supper. The evening will feature games as well as interaction with the Kansas City fire and police departments. Neighbors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
