Hannah Frazier and Alexanderia Birlingmair were honored by Gladstone Kiwanis as the club’s 2019 Gladstone Kiwanis Scholars. Each student is in the top 4% of her graduating class and is active in sports and community service.
Frazier belonged to the Kiwanis Club’s Oak Park High School Key Club. She also participated in basketball, soccer and the Science Olympiad. Frazer served as a kennel assistant at Picture Pet Hospital. Her career goal is to become a veterinarian, studying at the University of Missouri.
Birlingmair was a member of the Kiwanis Club’s Winnetonka High School Key Club. She was an all-conference tennis player and served as a junior counselor for Heartland Center Summer Camp. She will be pursuing a civil engineering degree from Iowa State University.
The Gladstone Kiwanis Club meets at noon the second and fourth Wednesday at the Antioch Bible Baptist Church, 800 NE 72nd St. Potential members are welcome at each meeting.
