Friday in the Park brings in jazz ensemble

Macken Park will play host to the sounds of the roaring 1920s as part of Friday in the Park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 7.

NORTH KANSAS CITY — Tom’s Town jazz ensemble will bring the sounds of the roaring 1920s and 30s to Friday in the Park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, at North Kansas City's Festival Pavilion in Macken Park, located at Howell Street and Clark Ferguson Drive. All concerts are free and open to the public. Each event features a drawing for prizes donated by local businesses.

The Friday in the Park series is marking its 41st year of live music in North Kansas City. Park amenities include parking access, playgrounds and restrooms. The event is sponsored by the city.
