Jeff Richards has the distinction of being the first person ever to be a cast member on both Saturday Night Live and its rival sketch show, MADtv. Now he brings his talents to The Groundhog Day Theater in Gladstone, located at 6906 N. Oak Trafficway.
Richards is an impressionist known for impersonating Robert Downey Jr., Jimmy Fallon, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, Dr. Phil, David Attenborough and more.
Richards has also performed sets on “Conan,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” “Comics Unleashed” and NBC’s “Late Friday.” In addition to stand-up, he has appeared in roles on TV series including “Real Rob,” Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time,” “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” “Mind of Mencia,” “Flash Forward” and VH1’s “Hit the Floor.”
Richards will perform Thursday through Saturday, July 11 to 13. The Thursday show is at 7 p.m. Performances are at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday,respectively. Tickets are $10 and are available in advance at www.eventbrite.com.
